My primulas are back in flower. The picture shows the stamens at the centre of a flower which is thrum-eyed. Here the stamens are long and the stigma is short so it is deep in the tube of the flower. Cross pollination occurs between a thrum-eyed plant and a pin-eyed plant ( where the positions are the reverse).
